Dr. Taylor provides a private service alongside a full NHS caseload. As such, his private clinics are not held on a weekly or daily basis. This service is therefore not designed for, nor appropriate to manage, acute or urgent neurological concerns. If you have immediate or time-sensitive concerns about your child’s health, you should seek appropriate urgent medical care via your GP or local emergency services.

Clinic Letters and Administrative Processes
Following clinic appointments, detailed letters are produced to summarise assessments, plans, and recommendations. These are comprehensive clinical documents which must be carefully drafted, checked, and cross-checked before being distributed to families and relevant professionals.
Please allow 2–4 weeks for this process to be completed. Repeated requests for updates within this timeframe can place additional pressure on administrative processes and may inadvertently contribute to delays.

 

Imaging and Results
Imaging reports are reviewed at Dr. Taylor’s next scheduled clinic, which may be 3–4 weeks following completion of the scan.
In most cases, no news is good news.
If there are urgent or clinically significant findings, these will be communicated directly to Dr. Taylor by the Neuroradiologist, enabling us to prioritise and expedite communication with you where clinically necessary.

 

Private Prescriptions
Requests for private prescriptions are subject to a £50 administrative fee, separate from any pharmacy costs.
Prescriptions will be processed within 5 working days and sent via Royal Mail First Class post. Please note that we are unable to guarantee postal delivery times.

Email Correspondence and Further Advice
Requests for further medical advice via email will not be responded to clinically. In order to ensure safe and high-quality care, such queries will be directed toward booking a follow-up appointment. Dr. Taylor is unable to provide appropriate clinical assessment or advice via email communication.
